PURPOSE:To reduce skin irritation and improve foaming properties, cleaning ability, etc., by incorporating a specific anionic surfactant of acyliminodibasic acid type and an amphoteric surfactant of either betaine type or amidoamino acid type. CONSTITUTION:The composition comprises (A) an anionic surfactant of acyliminodibasic acid type represented by formula I (wherein R<1>CO is a 10-22C aliphatic acyl; R<2> and R<3> each is a 1-3C alkylene; and M<1> and M<2> each independently is H, an alkali (or alkaline earth) metal, or an (organic) ammonium) and (B) either an amphoteric surfactant of betaine type represented by formula II (wherein R<4> is a 9-22C alkyl, etc.; d is 0 or 1; e is 1-4; R<5> and R<6> each is a 1-4C alkyl, etc.; and Z is -CH2CH(OH)CH2SO3, etc.) or an amphoteric surfactant of amidoamino acid type represented by formula III or IV (wherein R<7>CO and R<8>CO are the same as R<1>CO; G and D each is -CH2CH(OH)CH2SO3, etc.; E is H, GM<3>, or DM<5>; and M<3> to M<5> are the same as M<1>), the (A)/(B) ratio being 20:1 to 1:6 by weight, the content of the sum of (A) and (B) being 3wt.% or higher. It has a pH of 4.0-7.5. |
