The magnet (2) is movable in the plastic body (9) up to the pole-shoe (1) enlarged by the bevel (10). An essentially ring-shaped plug (4) is cast, surrounding and sealing the pole-shoe. The ring-shaped sealing plug (4) is arranged in a ring-shaped recess provided in the pole-shoe. The sealing plug surrounds and fills up the opening (11), and is arranged flush with the end surface (14) of the plastic body. USE/ADVANTAGE - Sensor for use in vehicles, is protected against ingress of moisture and contamination at pole-shoe.
