<p>PURPOSE:To provide the semiconductor switch which can provide a current limiting characteristic and can reduce the loss of power. CONSTITUTION:The source of a first MOSFET 10 and the source of a second MOSFET 12 are mutually connected in common, and an input part 15 of a control part 14 is connected to such a common junction (a). One terminal 16 of a current passage provided at the control part 14 is connected between the gate of the first MOSFET 10 and an input terminal G1, and another terminal 17 is connected to a terminal D2 connected to the drain of the second MOSFET 12. Then, when the potential of the common junction (a) gets higher than a prescribed potential, this control part 14 is conducted, a current flows from the input terminal G1 to the terminal D2, and the first MOSFET 10 is turned off. Thus, a current ID1 is monitored by an ON resistor RON of the second MOSFET 12, and the current limiting characteristic is provided for the current ID1.</p> |
