PURPOSE: To provide flexibility to the multi-lingual capability by processing an announcement from a multi-lingual voice message system as a 'semantic expression' having an identifier. CONSTITUTION: A voice message system 300 is made up of a processor 100, data bases 270-275 that store voice fragments which are parts of voice of a specific language and specific to the language, and a system database 280 that stores information specific to the system. Each announcement is related to a 'semantic expression', having an announcement identifier and the identifier is related to the rules of a set which is stored in the system database 280. As a result, the announcement having the identifier is translated by the rules of a set, including information specific to the language. The rules specific to each language are used to calculate voice fragments which are specific to the languages of a set related to the 'semantic expression' by a CPU 150. |
