<p>PURPOSE:To remove SOx and NOx by dividing waste gas into plural systems, spraying a slurry sbsorbent to at least one waste gas system to turn it into dry granular substances before mixing them with the other waste gas systems, thereby bringing an absorbent in a state of dried granular substances into contact with waste gas of high temperature. CONSTITUTION:Fly ash and Ca(OH)2 or CaO are fed from feed passage 2 and a feed passage 3 respectively and simultaneously the granular substances collected from waste gas is fed from a duct 24 and water from a water introducing pipe 4 is added and they are mixed to obtain slurry 1. And the slurry is transferred to an adjusting process 6, where it is agitated and aged while heating it to turn it into a gel. Then the absorbent is transferred from a slurry pump 9 through a duct 10 and after it is mixed with air, steam, etc., from a feed passage 11, it is sprayed as fine particles from a spray nozzle 14 to a drying chamber 13. On the other hand, when waste gas of high temperature from a boiler is transferred to the drying chamber 13, the sprayed slurry is dried and simultaneously SOx and NOx are removed.</p> |
