<p>PURPOSE: To immediately respond to a poor visibility in foggy conditions. CONSTITUTION: A control system for a lighting and indicating apparatus includes a fog lamp 12, an apparatus for automatically sensing the presence of poor visibility, a humidity detecting circuit 3 and an optical visibility sensing circuit 2, the outputs from which are combined by a combining circuit 4, the combined signal then being processed so as to control lighting or extinction of the fog lamp.</p> |
