METHOD FOR GROWING PLANT IN SPACE AND PLANTING BOX THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To enable the culture of a plant even under severe conditions such as strong wind and rain or heat ray of direct sunshine by holding the stalk of a plant with a holding groove of a plastic ring and closely clamping and sealing the root stalk with the cut end of a foamed sheet having open-cell structure and placed inside of the ring. CONSTITUTION:The outer casing 1 of a planting box is made to have low thermal conductivity. The stalk of a plant in a planting part 11 is held with a holding groove 12 by inserting a plastic ring 7 to prevent the excessive movement and swing caused by strong wind and rain. The stalk of the plant is closely clamped and fixed in sealed state with a foamed sheet 8 having open-cell structure to prevent the drift of soil 9 and radiation of heat ray and keep the air-permeability.
