<p>PURPOSE:To provide a marker light of a vehicle, such as a tail lamp and a stop lamp, which provides a large light-emitting area although thin and lightweight, high speed lighting and a long life. CONSTITUTION:A sheet-like light source comprises a translucent panel 1 having a dot printed portion 2 formed on the back side thereof for uniforming light and neon 4 disposed on the side end faces of the translucent panel 1, and light from the light source is directed perpendicularly to the light-emitting surface of the translucent panel 1 by prism sheets 6, 7 and emitted to the outside through a surface case 8 having a light-distribution lens. The brightness of the neon lamps 5 is controlled by power control based on the PWM method so as to control display of a small lamp, a stop lamp, etc.</p> |
