PURPOSE:To obtain a compact thick film conductor of Cu having low conduction resistance by producing a green sheet laminate while employing Cu2O powder as main constituent of conductor paste and then heating the green sheet laminate at a specified temperature in an oxidizing atmosphere thereby reducing CuO film. CONSTITUTION:A ceramics material is admixed with an organic binder and a plasticizer to produce a green sheet 11 onto which a desired circuit pattern of conductor pastes 12, 13 mainly composed of Cu2O is printed. Green sheets 11 thus printed with circuit pattern are then laminated to produce a green laminate 10 which is subsequently subjected to heat treatment in order to decompose and disperse the organic binder and to oxidize CU2O into CuO which is further reduced in a reducing atmosphere and the ceramics is fired. This method allows formation of a compact thick film conductor of Cu having low resistance in the board which can deal with high density and high speed signal processing. |
