The invention relates to a grate in sheds (stalls) for keeping pigs, which grate is composed of an open grate section and a closed section, the temperature of which can be regulated; a waterbed, comprising a plastic sheet filled with water and foamed plastic, is attached to the closed section. The waterbed to be used has a surface which is such that it can be arranged accurately on the closed section of the grate and has a thickness of 1- 5 cm. This waterbed is composed of a cover made from a sheet material which is able to withstand mechanical loads and is partially filled with foamed plastic and then filled up with water.
