<p>PURPOSE:To provide the deinking agent excellent in an ink-removing ability by addition-reacting a specific amount of an alkylene oxide to the reaction mixture of a multibasic carboxylic acid (anhydride) with an alcohol. CONSTITUTION:The deinking agent contains as a deinking agent an ester mixture produced by addition-reacting an alkylene oxide to reaction mixture produced by reacting an alcohol such as 1-octanol with a multibasic carboxylic acid (anhydride). The average molar number of the added alkylene oxide is preferably 300-1000, and the deinking agent gives deinked pulp free from a dark color.</p> |
