PURPOSE:To provide a new agricultural covering material (a synthetic resin film) which is lighter in wt. and more durable in the outdoor use than the conventional agricultural vinyl film without detriment to the advantage of the latter, i.e., usefulness in forcing culture. CONSTITUTION:An agricultural film with a desired thickness is obtd. by calendering a resin compsn. which is prepd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. compsn. comprising an ethylene-methyl methacrylate resin having a methyl methacrylate content of 5-25wt.%, an ultraviolet absorber, a light stabilizer, and an antioxidant in a specified ratio with 0.05-10 pts.wt. at least one compd. selected from the group consisting of an acrylic process aid, a metal salt of an org. acid, and a fatty acid. |
