摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve compression efficiency by properly adjusting a closing timing of an suction port and an introduction passage of a rotary valve according to the case that rotation speed of a rotary shaft is varied. CONSTITUTION:A rotary valve 26 is rotatably housed in a valve housing chamber 25 by means of a rotary shaft 10, which chamber 25 is formed by a center port 1b of a cylinder block 1 and a partition wall 4a of a rear housing 4. Cooling medium gas in a suction chamber 8 can be guided by a suction passage 29 and a suction port 30 formed on the rotary valve 26 to an operation chamber 40 inside a cylinder bore during a suction process through an introduction passage 1 of the cylinder block 1. A centrifugal weight 36 is arranged between the rotary shaft 10 and the rotary valve 26. When rotation speed of the rotary shaft 10 is increased, the centrifugal weight 36 is shifted outward, and the rotary valve 26 is shifted rearward. Intake ports 31 to 33 each forming angles different from each other in a circumferential direction correspond to the introduction passage 1c for delaying termination timing of suction.</p>
