PURPOSE:To obtain a ground grouting agent, composed of a sol of a compound oxide of silica and an inorganic oxide and a hardener and capable of readily controlling the hardening rate without contaminating underground water, etc., due to the outflow of an alkaline salt in the grouting agent and providing a high hardening strength of the grouted ground. CONSTITUTION:The agent comprises (A) a compound oxide sol which is a sol, containing fine particles of a compound oxide composed of silica and inorganic oxides (e.g. Al2O3) other than the silica dispersed therein and having the average particle diameter (Dp) and the specific surface area (S) satisfying the formula and (B) a hardener (preferably CaCl2 or Na2SO4). The component (A) is obtained by simultaneously adding, e.g. an alkali metallic silicate such as sodium silicate and an alkali-soluble inorganic compound such as sodium aluminate into an alkaline aqueous solution at pH>=10 and producing colloidal particles. Furthermore, the solid concentration of the component (A) is preferably finally regulated to 5-50wt.%. The amount of the component (B) based on the compound oxide in the component (A) is preferably regulated to 0.05-10 weight ratio. |
