PURPOSE:To effectively solve the problem of deterioration in operation rate of a device due to the decrease in effective adsorbing area of a adsorbent caused by the change in temp. of a packed bed in a pressure swing adsorber. CONSTITUTION:A heat accumulating material 3 made of blocks or powder having a larger heat capacity per unit area than that of the adsorbent 2 is incorporated in the inside of the adsorbent 2 or the adsorbent is applied on the surface of the accumulating material 3 made of the grain having a larger heat capacity per unit area than that of the adsorbent 2.
