PURPOSE:To enable the display of the stereoscopic image of a desired section and the easier recognition of the state of a diagnostic section than heretofore. CONSTITUTION:A display outside control section 14 has an input mechanism, such as joystick. The stereoscopic images successively assigned by a stereoscopic display arithmetic circuit section 15 are synthesized in accordance with the image data of an image memory 5 when input is made by the joystick, etc. The synthesized images are sent to a D/A conversion section 12 and the stereoscopic images are displayed in a display section 13.
