PURPOSE:To provide a method for feeding band-like material to calender rolls, by which the accuracy of sheet gage is contrived to improve. CONSTITUTION:The method concerned is one for feeding plastic band-like material 1 to calender rolls 10. Concretely, the band-like material is feed between a pair of the rolls 11 and 12 under the application of the predetermined tension by winding the band-like material 1 fed through guide members 6 and 7 round the roll 11, the peripheral speed of which is below that of the other roll 12 of a pair of the calender rolls 11 and 12, by the predetermined angle of contact. |
