<p>PURPOSE:To develop a practical technique for predicting minor failures. CONSTITUTION:In an engine 1, sensor groups 2, 3, 4 are disposed of detecting pressure, flow and temperature of fluid flowing at respective portions. In a comparator 7, comparison is made between variation tendencies of detection values in the respective sensors and variation tendencies showing abmormalities agreement, abnormality at this position is determined, so that a prediction signal S is outputted from an output device 8. Accordingly, signs of various minor failures, possibly leading to a major failure or accident if left alone, are predicted, in am early stage. Necessary steps are thus taken in advance, thereby preventing occurrence of a major failure or accident.</p> |
