<p>PURPOSE:To reuse waste oil, decontaminate exhaust gas, and prevent environmental disruption by bringing waste oil such as used engine oil and unused machine oil into contact with waste gas and exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:The interior of a container 1 is partitioned by means of a partition plate 2 into a larger chamber and a smaller one, i.e., a first treatment chamber 3 and a second treatment chamber 4, which are interconnected by a communication pipe 5. Waste oil 6 of engin oil of internal combustion engine is stored in the chamber 3 in the quantities corresponding to about one-third the volume thereof and a charcoal layer 7 is formed in the chamber 4. A waste gas introducing pipe 8 is connected to the chamber 3 in such a manner that the pipe is bent in the chamber 3 and the forward end thereof is immersed into the waste oil 6. A guide plate 9 is provided in the chamber 3 so as to cover the end of the pipe 8 and an outlet pipe 10 for treated gas is provided in the chamber 4. In this manner, the waste gas is deodorized and decontaminated.</p> |
