TV receiver with split-screen operation

摘要

The receiver has selectors for the TV signals. Received signals corresp. to the pictures are transmitted to the picture reproducing unit. Non-volatile semiconductor stores hold picture signals of a complete picture which does not corresp. to the received signals. They are stored in the form of coded digital data. Decoders decipher the stored data which is then supplied to the picture unit for reproduction.The stored picture, in the form of coded data, has contains both an command instruction for the user, and advertising information. There are switching units (15), by which the received TV signal and/or the signals corresp. to the coded stored data can be fed from the storage unit (8) to the picture display unit (13)
