The socket has an outer sleeve (1) of metal or plastics with an integrated middle elastomer part (2) as the vulcanisation part. Between the outer sleeve and a metal or plastics spacer sleeve (6) is a plastics sleeve (3) with bulging central part (4). The plastics sleeve has outwardly directed ribs inside its bulging area (4).
