PURPOSE:To provide a pseudo multi-gradational electrostatic recording apparatus which can prevent the generation of the density irregularity of an image at a plastered part of the gradation image and record the image with a high quality at all times. CONSTITUTION:A gradation correcting circuit 35 is provided between a gradational original image signal receiving circuit 31 and a pseudo multi-gradation converting circuit 32. An image signal fed from the gradational original image signal receiving circuit 31 is converted to a pseudo multi-gradation by the gradation correcting circuit 35, so that the pattern of the density irregularity of a middle density area where the density irregularity is conspicuous when the image is printed is negated. The recording apparatus is adapted to make corrections of the gradation as above. |
