PURPOSE:To improve reliability by verifying the operation of a comparator which compares duplexed CPU output. CONSTITUTION:When the operation of the comparator 3 is verified, the operation of a slave CPU 22 is stopped compulsorily by a compulsory reset circuit 29 after a diagnostic flag is set at '1'. In such a case, the noncoincidence of CPU output is detected when the comparator 23 is operated normally. and also, when no noncoincidence of the CPU output is detected, it can be recognized that a fault occurs in the operation of the comparator 23. Therefore, the operation of the comparator 23 can be verified by checking the output of the comparator in a state where the operation of the slave CPU 22 is stopped. Therefore, the operation of the comparator 23 can be verified. which secures high reliability. |
