<p>PURPOSE: To provide a spool valve being manufacturable at low cost, causing little damage to seal rings, and capable of being easily and accurately assembled. CONSTITUTION: In this spool valve 1 with a valve housing 2 having therein a spool receiving space 3 in which the valve spool 9 is provided, a plurality of seal rings 7 are axially aligned and retained in holding recesses formed integrally with the valve housing 2. The valve housing 2 comprises a plurality of longitudinally split apart housing parts. Each of the housing parts 21, 22 constitutes a wall section extending toward the outer periphery of the spool receiving space 3 and including the outer peripheral section of each holding recess. The seal rings 7 can easily be inserted into the spool receiving space 3 with the housing parts 21, 22 split apart, and the spool valve 1 can easily be assembled and formed by simply fitting the housing parts 21, 22 together after insertion.</p> |
