<p>PURPOSE:To provide a printing solution for ink jet printers, writing tools, etc., containing at least one of the specific azo-pigments, giving densely colored printed matter excellent in printing quality and printed pictures excellent in light-resistance and water resistance and having excellent storage stability. CONSTITUTION:This recording solution for ink jet printers and writing tools, giving densely colored printed matter excellent in printing quality on plain printing paper and printed pictures excellent in light-resistance and water resistance and having excellent storage stability is obtained by dissolving under thorough mixing at least one of the azo pigments of the formula [A is (substd.) phenyl or (substd.)naphthyl; B is (substd.)phenylene or (substd.)naphthylene; M is Li, ammonium or organoamine salt; (n) = 0-1] in an aqueous medium composed of an aqueous solution of diethylene glycol, N-methyl pyrrolidone, triethanolamine, etc., filtering through a Teflon filter having pores of 1mum in diameter under pressure and deaerating the solution by the use of a vacuum pump and an ultrasonic washer.</p> |
