The pad spine (64), on which the pad sheets (73) are turnably secured, extends along one pad narrow side (65). The index register is of dual type consisting of two registers (68,69) along two pad longitudinal sides (66,67). The elements (1-24) of both registers provide access to the same sheet, but to different sections (60,61) of the respective sheet (62). The pad is pref. divided into identical longitudinal sections, e.g. of half the sheet length.
