PURPOSE:To use an effector, incorporated in a signal processor, as an effector of another signal processor. CONSTITUTION:A musical sound signal SA is supplied from a sound source part 13, which drives plural sound generation channels on a time-division basis, to an input AIN of a selector 14 and an external signal SD which is passed through an A/D converter 15 is supplied to an input BIN. The selector 14 selects the input signal from the input AIN at all times, and consequently the musical sound signal SA is supplied to an effect circuit 14, which grants desired effect to the musical sound signal. To select the external signal SD, the selector 14 selects and outputs the external signal SB inputted to the input BIN only when a musical sound signal is inputted from a specific channel among plural sound generation channels. Consequently, the effect circuit 16 grants the effect to the musical sound signal SA other than the specific sound generation channel and the external signal SB supplied instead in the driving period of the specific sound generation channel. |
