ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE AND IONICALLY CONDUCTIVE NETWORK POLYMER COMPOSITION AND ITS PREPARATION

PURPOSE:To obtain a network polymer composition showing electrical conductivity, providing a cured material having electrical conductivity of itself or on the surface, its resistance value in the range of ohm to kiloohm. CONSTITUTION:An oxidative substance such as aniline, thiophene or pyrrole fixed in a cured polymer is reacted with an oxidizing agent in situ to give an electrically-conductive polymer. In another production, a mixture composition comprising a curable substance, a metal salt and an ionic phase transfer agent for dissolving the metal is cured to give a polymer having high ionic conductivity. Further, in another production, a composition comprising the curable substance, the metal salt and a solvent is cured in a filmy state and an electrically- conductive metal film is developed with a reducing agent on the surface of the polymer to provide electrical conductivity.
