PURPOSE: To enable a lubricant pump to be simply and cheaply incorporated by providing means including rotor means, etc., operating in rotation relative to the stator of a pump means for circulating a lubricant for lubricating an input shaft, an output shaft and a power divider. CONSTITUTION: A tandem drive axle has a power divider coupled at the middle. The power divider has an inter-axle power dividing differential having a housing 12 to which a lubricant is fed, an input shaft 14 of an axle 76, an output shaft 30 having a gear 26 and a carrier 38 connected to the input shaft 14. A pump means 82 is provided, having a carrier mounting idle gears 40, 42 meshed with the gear 26, an axle driving gear 44, and a stator attached to the housing 12. Rotor means 88, 96 are provided for operating in rotation relative to the stator for circulating a lubricant for lubricating the input shaft 14, the output shaft 30 and the power divider. A coupling means 120 is provided for coupling the carrier to the rotor means. |
