PURPOSE: To provide a card using transaction system in which the total of a transaction sum is displayed on a card by each transaction or until then. CONSTITUTION: This system is constituted of a user card 11 including permanent information 12, a data processor 16, and a card station 14 which detects the presence and/or information of the user card 11 by a card reader and transmits this detection signal to a data processor 16. The user card 11 has an erasable visual display surface 13. The card station 14 has a means which writes on the visual display surface. The data processor 16 allows the writing means to write visual display on the display surface.
