PURPOSE:To simplify ground equipment by previously providing the route data between respective block sections onto a vehicle, and from the ground by sending only the aspect data of a signal and the identification data of a ground unit by which the block section under being traveled can be specified. CONSTITUTION:A ground unit square is installed in each of respective' block sections T1, T2, etc., and both the identification information of the ground unit square and the aspect information of the block section T1 where the ground unit square is installed are sent onto a vehicle from a ground transmitter 3. Then, in an on-vehicle apparatus D, a receiver 20 receives the above ground-side data, and a train controller 30 extracts the route data corresponding to the ground unit square that has been previously stored in a memory. At that time, the train controller 30 carries out brake control so as to stop the train at a prescribed stop point on the basis of the extracted route data, if the red signal is included in the ground-side information. When the red signal is not included, traveling control for passing through the block section T1 where the ground unit square is situated is carried out. |
