PURPOSE:To easily form a groove, to commonly use a base mold even if a lug pattern is different, and to allow the air to be easily released from a lug hole by forming an air escape groove in the mating surfaces of cavity molds near the hole. CONSTITUTION:Cavity molds 3, 13 of upper and lower molds 11, 12 are suitably replaced to match a core and a lug pattern of a crawler to be manufactured. A groove is not formed in a mating surface 4a of a base mold 4, but an air escape groove 5 is so formed on a mating surface 3a of the mold 3 as to surround Jug holes 2 via a small gap. The groove 5 is formed in a V-shaped sectional shape. Since the groove is formed in the mold 3, a smaller-sized processing machine as compared with the case in which the groove is formed on the mold 4. Thus, even if the mold 3 is altered, the mold 4 can be commonly used, and air escaping from the hole 2 can be reliably and effectively conducted. |
