<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the irregularity of the exposure energy of a photosensitive medium generated along a horizontal scanning direction to reduce vertical stripe like image density irregularity generated along a vertical scanning direction in an image recording apparatus exposing the photosensitive medium by a scanning head having a large number of optical recording element arranged there to along the horizontal scanning direction to form an image. CONSTITUTION:In an image recording apparatus having a large number of optical recording elements 1 arranged thereto along the horizontal scanning direction shown by an arrow A and appropriately irradiating the photosensitive medium 3 moving in the vertical scanning direction (the vertical direction in a drawing) corresponding to image data to form an image, a correction means 4 correcting the light output intensities of the respective optical recording elements 1 so as to uniformize the exposure energy on the photosensitive medium 3 accompanied by the light emission of the optical recording elements 1 is provided.</p> |
