PURPOSE:To improve comfortableness and utility of woven or fabric by lightening woven or knitted fabric of synthetic fiber yarn, providing the woven or knit fabric with functions such as refreshing feeling or warmth keeping properties, coloring colorability, luster, improvement in adhesiveness, etc. CONSTITUTION:Woven or knit fabric comprises at least partially yarn having degree of modification of fiber cross section 1.2-5.0 and >=3 and <=12 channels continuous in the length direction in synthetic fiber multifilament falsely twisted textured yarn and the woven or knit fabric is subjected to elution treatment with an alkali to give woven or knit fabric of extremely modified falsely twisted textured yarn. The woven or knit fabric has touch with a refreshing feeling, excellent water absorption properties and water vapor absorption, good warmth keeping feeling and luster feeling, bulkiness and stretchability, deep color tone, improved adhesiveness to a resin agent and early diffusing effect on water through a coating or laminate film. |
