<p>PURPOSE: To provide a system capable of efficiently selecting the number of heating cooling steps required for regulation of a space temperature to a desired value. CONSTITUTION: This device includes a process to calculate on a real time basis the capacity contribution of each of a number of heating cooling means 10, 12, 14, and 16 in a heat pump or an air-conditioning system. The calculated contribution is used for determination of the necessary number of steps to be driven at any point of time.</p> |
