TREAD RUBBER COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain a tread rubber compsn. which exhibits excellent grip properties on an icy or frozen road and is suitable for a studless tire. CONSTITUTION:This rubber compsn. is prepd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. diene rubber component contg. a natural rubber and/or a polybutadiene rubber as the main component with 30-130 pts.wt. silica and 0-15 pts.wt. softener and has a peak temp. of tan delta (Tg) of -45 deg.C or lower.
