The invention relates to a holding device for a curtain on a motor vehicle window having a window-pane frame which surrounds a window pane and on which at least one portion of the curtain is held in a fixed manner via stud-like attachment means arranged at regular intervals on the curtain material and engaging in the window-pane frame. In the window-pane frame the holding device has elongated holes approximately parallel to the adjoining edge of the window pane, into each of which holes an attachment means can be clipped in a manner such that it can be displaced to a limited extent.
