PURPOSE:To prevent the damage to an ultrasonic transmission and reception surface by a tracheal check valve even if the intra-celom ultrasonic probe is inadvertently removed from the tracheal. CONSTITUTION:A front end probe part 5 on the side having the ultrasonic transmission and reception surface 7 of the ultrasonic probe 1 is provided with a projecting part 24 projecting to the side outer than the outer peripheral surface of an insertion part 3 and at least a front end probe part 5 on the side not having the transmission and reception surface 7 is provided with a groove part 25 continuous smoothly with the outer periphery of the insertion part. |
