<p>PURPOSE:To provide a cargo transfer system in which running speed of a running truck can be detected accurately while protecting a cargo against falling down or fracture. CONSTITUTION:A truck 1 running on a rail 5 while loading a cargo is fixed with a detection plate 41 of same length as the truck 1 along the running direction. Photoelectric switches 35 for detecting the detection plate 41 are disposed along the rail 5 and a controller detects actual running speed of the truck 1 based on the ON interval of the photoelectric switch 35 thus controlling the speed of the truck 1. Consequently, actual running speed is recognized based on the ON interval of the photoelectric switch 35 (time required for the detection plate 41 to pass through the position of the photoelectric switch 35) and the running speed of the truck 1 is controlled thus allowing accurate detection of the running speed of the truck 1 and accurate speed control. Furthermore, loading start timing with reference to the running speed is prevented from shifting thus protecting the cargo against fall down or fracture at the time of transfer.</p> |
