<p>PURPOSE:To provide a current sensor in which the secondary circuit is opened only when all secondary windings are disconnected or all resistors connected across the secondary windings are fused, measurement is continued so long as any one secondary winding is not disconnected, and the disconnection of any one secondary winding or fusion of any one resistor can be detected quickly. CONSTITUTION:Secondary windings 2-1, 2-2 are wound around by the same number of turns as the primary conductor 100 around the same core 1 as the primary conductor 100. Resistors 3-1, 3-2 having same resistance and one grounded sides are connected across the secondary windings 2-1, 2-2. Voltages appearing at the nongrounded sides of the resistors 3-1, 3-2 are applied to voltage adder/amplifiers 4, 6 through resistors 5-1, 5-2. Voltages appearing at the nongrounded sides of the resistors 3-1, 3-2 are fed to the inverted and noninverted inputs of a comparator 8 through resistors 7-1, 7-2.</p> |
