<p>PURPOSE:To obtain deinked pulp having a high whiteness and a high (b) value and containing only a small amount of remaining ink from a raw material waste-paper containing a specified ratio of magazine and news paper. CONSTITUTION:In deinking a raw material waste-paper composed of 5/95 to 60/40 (weight ratio) of magazine/news paper, the concentration of pulp in the pulping process system is controlled to 10 to 32wt.% and (A) a surfactant selected from (A1): a compound of formula I [R1 is a 14 to 24C alkyl, alkenyl or a 8 to 14C alkyl-containing alkylphenyl; AO is a 2 to 4C alkylene oxide; (p) is a number allowing the molecular weight to take 800 to 10000], (A2): a compound of formula II [R2 is a 13 to 23C alkyl, alkenyl, a polyvalent carboxylic acid residue, etc.; (m) is a number allowing the molecular weight to take 800 to 10000] and (A3): a reactional product obtained by adding an alkylene to a mixture of a 14 to 24C alkyl fat and oil and adding a polyvalent alcohol during the pulping process and (B) a 14 to 24C higher fatty acid (salt), a polyvalent carboxylic acid (salt) or a dimer acid or a polymer acid derived from the higher fatty acid are added thereto in a weight ratio of (A)/(B)=24/76 to 8/92 in any one of the deinking processes.</p> |
