<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a useful steelmaking material by recovering valuable metals including Ni from an Ni-contg. acidic waste liq. as sludge. CONSTITUTION:A powdery, granular and/or flaky iron material contg. 10-100% metallic Fe is added to an Ni-contg. acidic waste liq. and vibrated under conditions where the vibration strength K defined by the following equation is kept at 2.0 to 20. The valuable metals such as Ni and Cu contained in the waste liq. are substituted and deposited, solid and liq. are separated after the deposition reaction, and the valuable metals are recovered as sludge. The equation is expressed by K=1/2.aomega<2>g (an<2>/90000), where (a) is amplitude, omega is acceleration, (n) is frequency, and (g) is gravitational acceleration. Consequently, since a sludge having low contents of S and P harmful to stell and a low content of water is formed, the succeeding degreasing and drying processes are facilitated, and a useful steelmaking material is obtained.</p> |
