In a process for the production of plastic parts which are employed in an analytical measuring instrument, where they come into contact with liquids, solvent is added to a plastic base material, and the mixture is subsequently extruded in the desired shape. Before addition to the plastic base material, aromatic and olefinic substances are removed from the solvent, for example by means of a chemical reaction, so the plastic final products are free from such substances. This prevents detection errors due to extraction of such substances in the liquid stream and transport into the detector occurring during use of the plastic parts in an analytical measuring instrument. A particularly advantageous area of use of the plastic parts produced according to the invention is in a vacuum degasser.
