A device for the electrical and mechanical connection of a stationary and a portable electrical system component (SK, TK), consisting of a strip (7), which projects out of the contour of a housing surface (5a) of the portable system component (TK) and consists of insulating material, having a main recess (7a) which extends along the strip (7) essentially parallel to the housing surface (5a), having a plurality of recesses (10) which are arranged parallel to one another and extend transversely with respect to a main direction of extent of the strip, in the region of the main recess (7a), and having first electrically conductive contact bodies (4), which are arranged at a specific distance from the outer contour of the strip (7) in at least some of the parallel recesses (10), and of a depression (8), which is matched to the form of the strip (7), in one housing surface (1a) of the stationary system component (SK) for accommodating the strip (7), having an attachment (9) which is in the form of a web and is directed towards the depression in the region of the main recess (7a) in the strip (7) of the portable component (TK), and having a plurality of electrically conductive second contact bodies (3), which are arranged side by side, for making contact with associated first contact bodies (4) in each case. <IMAGE>
