The guide pin (6) fits into the valve stem guide (7), and a spring (8) is fitted on the upward end (6') of the guide pin in the valve seat. A rotating driven grinding tool (4) is installed and fixed at the required radial distance from the valve stem guide centre line, and is non-rotatable in the end of the guide pin. The spring is tensioned between the cylinder head and the grinding tool. An adjuster (10, 11) in the guide pin opposite end is adjusted to locate against the cylinder head and draws the grinding tool downwards towards the valve seat against the effect of the spring. |
