A service connection for gas and water lines for joining a supply line, coming in from the outside and consisting of plastic or other materials, to a connection line laid in the house has a flange plate (1), fastened on the inner side of a house wall, enclosing an opening which penetrates the house wall, and exhibiting a central hole (2) concentric to the opening, and also has a connection device (7, 16) by means of which the supply line, through the opening in the house wall and the hole (2) in the flange plate (1), is connected to the connection line and is fastened on the flange plate (1). In order to cut down on metallic materials, the connection device (7, 16) exhibits a metallic connection stub (7), extending through the hole (2) in the flange plate (1) and connected, on its end portion (9) within the house, to the connection line, as well as a connection pipe (16) which consists of plastic or other materials, extends, approximately from the outer side of the flange plate (1), through the opening penetrating the house wall and, on its end portion outside the house, is connected to the supply line and, on its flange-plate-side end portion, is received fixedly and in a sealing manner in the house-wall-side end portion (10) of the connection stub (7). <IMAGE>
