<p>PURPOSE: To provide a liquid crystal display device and production of the same with which disconnection and/or short-circuit defects are decreased and display characteristics are improved. CONSTITUTION: A 1st electrode 10 forming one or a lot of auxiliary electrodes together with a counter pixel electrode 4 is provided for each pixel area, the 1st electrodes 10 surround the pixel electrode 4 in the shape off annular, the 1st electrodes 10 in the adjacent pixel areas are connected by a wiring link part 14, and the 1st electrode 10 is driven independently of a scan signal line 1 and a display signal line 5a. Concerning such a liquid crystal display device, the 1st electrodes 10 of independent wiring type capacitors having annular structure are formed so that processes are simplified and the pixel areas are maximized. Besides, the degree of freedom for the driving pulse selection of the liquid crystal display device is increased and R-C delay is decreased.</p> |
