PURPOSE:To greatly reduce the cost of production and to assure display quality by arbitrarily setting the width of transparent electrode patterns of terminal parts which are disposed at both ends of the transparent electrode patterns and are to be exclusively used for coloration and arranging colored terminals at both ends. CONSTITUTION:Designing of the transparent electrode patterns 1a, 1b, 1c is extremely important in order to uniformalize the film thicknesses of the color filters in the case of an electrodeposition method of high polymers. The film thickness of the color filters formed by electrodeposition of the high polymers exhibits a nonuniform distribution if the terminals for coloration exist only at one side end. The film thickness distribution of the color filters formed by electrodeposition of the high polymers is, however, uniformalized by arranging the colored terminals at both ends if the width of the electrode patterns varies largely. Then, the transparent electrode patterns 1a, 1b, 1c for forming the color filters formed by electrodeposition of the high polymers are commonly usable for driving liquid crystals by using the transparent electrode patterns 1a, 1b, 1c. A bipolar phenomenon is prevented by expanding pattern areas. |
