DISPLAY SYSTEM OF PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEM IN OPEN SYSTEM WINDOW ENVIRONMENT

PURPOSE: To generate the display of a process control system by plural different generation sources. CONSTITUTION: A process control system network constitutes a 1st display generation source and an windowing system onstitutes a 2nd display generation source. A control system network provides important information related to the operation of the process control system to a display device. The windowing system controls display by opening and maintaining an window. One specific window to be opened is an window on which information can be displayed by the controlsystem network. In order to communicate information by the control system network, an window is opened by the windowing system and information is overwritten on the newly opened window by a plant control network.
