<p>PURPOSE:To permit a semiconductor integrated circuit device to start a first operation and to execute a second operation without waiting for the termination of the first operation. CONSTITUTION:An input signal pulse string recognition circuit 10 is provided apart from a register storing an input signal pulse string. The input signal pulse string recognition circuit detects signal input making the second operation to be executed while the first operation is executed, and control is executed by the result. A CPU-side executes a different processing after a write operation is started in EEPROM and the like. The processing capacity of the whole device can be improved to a maximum by periodically inquiring whether the write operation is executed at present or not.</p> |
